Our Story

Mediterranean Markets is an importer and wholesaler, based in Melbourne, Australia who has been importing Flax for 20+ years. We are family owned and managed business, we import a wide range of products from around the world, and distribute these to a large number of quality homewares stores in every state of Australia.

 

Our beautiful range of Flax Ceramics are handcrafted by the people of Vietnam. While delicate in design and fragile in appearance, each piece is fired at over 1250 C, meaning that these items are in fact very strong and robust and will look gorgeous in your chosen space for years.

Our colourways of Cream, Charcoal, Duck Egg, Grey & Snow White are timelessly elegant due to their tonal hues and classic design. Each ceramic is organically shaped, providing small irregularities that add to the beauty of the items whether they are purchased as a stand-alone piece or in a collection.

With pieces ranging from classic dinner set staples to statement vases and pots, you will always find somewhere in your home to place these beautiful ceramics.

All pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. Measurements will vary slightly due to the irregular shape.
